Recipe:Remove the shoots (or some call the "heart") from ginkgo nuts. Cook the ginkgo nuts in boiling water with sugar added. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes to soften and sweeten the ginkgo nuts.
Slice yam and steam till thoroughly cooked and soft. Mash yam. Heat cooking oil. Add in the mashed taro and continue to stir until the oil and taro are blended. Keep the heat low and continue to stir until the taro paste becomes smooth. Add sugar.
Slice pumpkin and steam till thoroughly cooked and soft. Mash pumpkin and mix with sugar.
Assemble portions of yam paste, pumpkin paste and ginkgo nuts. Serve.
